How to Connect Klaviyo to Your QuizyPilot Account
Integrating Klaviyo with QuizyPilot allows you to automatically sync quiz leads, trigger email automations, and personalize your customer journeys based on quiz responses.
Once connected, every lead collected through your quizzes can be sent directly to your Klaviyo account, making it easy to build targeted email campaigns and automate follow-up marketing.
Before You Begin
Before connecting Klaviyo, make sure you have:
- An active QuizyPilot account
- An active Klaviyo account
- At least one published quiz
- At least one Klaviyo List (recommended)
Step 1: Open the Integrations Page
From your QuizyPilot dashboard, click Integrations from the left sidebar.
This page displays all available integrations supported by QuizyPilot.
Step 2: Connect Klaviyo
Locate the Klaviyo integration card and click Connect.
QuizyPilot will securely redirect you to Klaviyo's authorization page.
Step 3: Authorize QuizyPilot
Review the requested permissions.
QuizyPilot requests access to:
- Events
- Lists
- Profiles
- Subscription Preferences
These permissions are required to sync quiz leads, trigger events, and update customer profiles.
Click Allow to complete the authorization.
Step 4: Verify the Connection
After successful authorization, you'll be redirected back to QuizyPilot.
The Klaviyo integration will now display:
- ✅ Connected
- Last synchronization time
- Manage button
Click Manage to configure the integration for your quizzes.
Step 5: Configure Your Quiz
Inside the integration settings you'll see all quizzes available in your workspace.
Enable the quiz you want to sync with Klaviyo.
For each quiz you can configure the following options.
Add New Leads to a Klaviyo List
Choose the Klaviyo list where new quiz leads should be added after completing the quiz.
Every customer who successfully finishes the quiz will automatically be subscribed to the selected list.
This makes it easy to:
- Build email audiences
- Segment customers
- Launch automated campaigns
- Create personalized email flows
Send "Quiz Completed" Event
Enable this option if you want QuizyPilot to send a Quiz Completed event to Klaviyo.
This event can be used as a trigger inside Klaviyo Flows for:
- Welcome emails
- Product recommendation emails
- Post-quiz automations
- Customer journeys
- Promotional campaigns
Send Full Quiz Data
Enable Send Full Quiz Data if you'd like QuizyPilot to send complete quiz responses to Klaviyo.
This includes:
- Questions answered
- Selected options
- Calculated scores
- Recommended products
- Product URLs
- Custom profile properties
This data allows you to build highly personalized customer segments and advanced automation flows.
Step 6: Verify Leads in Klaviyo
Once a customer completes your quiz, QuizyPilot will automatically sync the lead to the selected Klaviyo list.
To verify the synchronization:
- Open your Klaviyo dashboard.
- Navigate to Audience → Lists & Segments.
- Open the list you selected inside QuizyPilot.
You should now see the synced lead inside your Klaviyo audience.
Step 7: View the Synced Customer Profile
Open the list to view its members.
Every synced quiz participant will appear as a Klaviyo profile with information such as:
- Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number (if collected)
- Date Added
If Send Full Quiz Data is enabled, additional quiz information will also be available on the customer's profile and events, allowing you to create advanced segments and personalized automations.
Step 8: Verify Quiz Data in Klaviyo
To view the synced quiz data, open the customer's profile in Klaviyo.
Navigate to Audience → Profiles, then select the customer profile created after the quiz submission.
Here you can verify that QuizyPilot has successfully synced:
- Customer information
- Quiz Completed event
- Quiz answers
- Custom properties
This data can be used to build personalized email campaigns and customer segments in Klaviyo.

Every completed quiz can now automatically:
- Add leads to your Klaviyo list
